am73grand Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Gorgeous!! I love the look with the hubcaps!!!!
kelson Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Beautiful smallblock vette!what colors did you use for the tabacco interior?and did you lower the car as well?most builds I've seen the car sits kinda high.
Monty Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Just the fact that it's a C3 was enough to get my attention, but there's so much to like about this build. Zora Arkus-Duntov would be proud. Any chance we could get a shot of the chassis?
dino246gt Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Wow, that really looks real, excellent detailing and finishing, love those hubcaps too!
Alan Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Curtis, Take another look at the motor in the Vette ....
Scalper Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Nice looking build very clean and love the paint.
Brett Barrow Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Beautiful smallblock vette!what colors did you use for the tabacco interior?and did you lower the car as well?most builds I've seen the car sits kinda high. That's a big block in there! It is beautiful, regardless! Love that color combo.
kelson Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 I realized it right away,i noticed that he had used the small block hood for the build.

Big Block, Flat Hood....Interior is Tamiya Red Brown... as close as you can get to the actual color, tweeked the suspension a bit, not to much... Monty Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Are you using embossing powder for carpet? I'm going to be trying the same thing with an '80 Corvette
Ramfins59 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 That's one great looking Vette Tom. Dynamite job.
Drgon63 Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 That would be embossing powder...finding it gives a better appearance then regular flocking for the tight weave carpets..... Are you using embossing powder for carpet? I'm going to be trying the same thing with an '80 Corvette
Drgon63 Posted January 15, 2014 Author Posted January 15, 2014 That's one great looking Vette Tom. Dynamite job. Thank you rich.... By the way the nnl hotel has been booked....
Mr Stock Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Superb work Tom, I love the hubcaps, are they resin peices or from a different kit ?, look very similar to the stock wheels in the AMT 70 Impala kit.
Drgon63 Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Superb work Tom, I love the hubcaps, are they resin peices or from a different kit ?, look very similar to the stock wheels in the AMT 70 Impala kit. The hubcaps come from the AMT Riviera kit... they are excellent representations of the Hub Caps used on the Corvettes...
