Old Coyote Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 ..... Kelly Chadwick was a racer and high school teacher form Floydada, Texas .......... a small farming community about 75 miles southeast of my hometown of Amarillo (he also built Chevrolet racing engines including the one in my '61 Corvette) ............ he is more known for his Camaro and Vega funny cars than he is for this one, but it was his start into big time match racing His first match racer was a non-altered wheelbase '65 Chevelle powered by a big block 427 Chrvrolet engine
booboo60 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Never seen this one run. But I did see the P/S Vega run, very nice car. I seen him at the Bristol spring national s, my dad use to race in stock. An super stock class, great times, thanks for sharing,
berr13 Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 (edited) I lived in Lubbock, and had no idea he was a local boy. Very nice model--where'd you get the decals? Personally, I'd like to see more pics; maybe the underside. Great work! Edited January 15, 2014 by berr13

Personally, I'd like to see more pics; maybe the underside. Great work! The decals came from SLIXX and they're still available. Don't have any "underneath" shots, but I'll se what I can do (weather permitting). Thanks for the nice comments.
AZ Boy Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Very nice John! I didn't know about this car before, so thanks for sharing.
