Been under the weather for the last couple of weeks, so I desided to finish some works in prgress. The 1st is a Academy 1:43 Cayenne Turbo in plastic that I got of ebay for $13.99 from Hong Kong with free shipping. This is a curbside and the kit is excellent, right up there with Tamiya. The body is pre-painted in a beautiful black and all the emblems are pad printed. I used Tamiya smoke tint for the rear windows and rear glass. I detailed the brakes which are a work of molding excellence.

Next up is a model by Tamiya in 1:20 of my 1:1 Porsche 928S. I painted this one Porsche Guards Red to match my car. A local body shop mixed the Porsche red paint for me and put in rattle cans. (I don't use an air brush) I removed the european style side makers and converted everything to an Ameriican specified car. It is great having a model of my own car.

Let me know what you think.

That 928 is beautiful! I have extra Porsche badge decals if you want one for the front.

Thanks, but I have the decal. I haven't put it on yet or finished the engine because I want to open the hood on my 1:1 for reference, but it's 2 below outside.

The 928 is one of Porsche's greatest designs. It doesn't get the acclaim it deserves.

It's fantastic driving car. Had it up to Poconos raceway early last year on a PCA weekend and we had it up to 162. Scared the heck out of me, but loved every minute.

Thank you everyone. The SUV took 20 minute to build. The 928 took a year because I lost the headlight len's and I never call Tamiya. Once I call them, they were here in 4 days. Great customer service!!!
