Eye Candy Around Every Corner.

Good morning,

One of the perks to being a car guy living on South Beach is all the exotic cars you come across. Yesterday with my son, it was a beautiful Audi R8. This morning, taking my son to school, parked on my block , in front of my neighbors’ house... Bugatti Veyron!

OK... Kit it.... I'll buy it. First one I've seen that wasn't two-tone. I like it!

I know it's cheating, but Auto Art makes a gorgeous 1/24 scale slot car of the Veyron. The price is about what a high-end Tamiya goes for, and it's already painted/detailed and has driver/passenger figures. Two tone gray/silver or black/red. Yeah, I want a kit...but there's at least a very suitable replacement if we don't get a kit.

Official price is about $55, the club member who bought this got it for roughly $30 via ebay.

the slot car kinda doesnt capture the "look" i see in the photos of the real thing.

it looks a lot more "blobby" than the real thing. probably so it will roll over without breaking trim pieces off.
