Well...while I wish the dang doors would shut, I'm I guess still happy with the results....

I never have very good luck with the doors, if the kit has opening doors. Except maybe the 58 T-bird. Anyway, its done.

** Testors Gloss black lacquer... airbrushed, cleared and polished.

** Hard to see but the interior has scale motorsports leapoard skin in the seat middle.

** Wheels and tires are from the 49 Merc..the wide whites are the 49's blackwalls painted with testors white acrylic.

** The half moons are from the 56 kit itself.

I lowered it as much as I could, but wish I could have gotten it a smidge lower. I used upside down and modified 72 AMT Corvette front spindles. I also had to move the a-arm up by cutting it off (its molded to the frame) and mounting it higher. For the rear, I just flattened out the spring, and instaled it into a groove I cut (lower) into the frame.

Next time I'll glue the doors shut, or make my own hinges. It took shaving a ton off of the dash to even get the doors to this position.

Hope y'all like it ! I am now building a 70 Cuda, as well as a fully detailed 69 Camaro convertibe (I'll open the doors and trunk on that one).

Despite the doors Jeff, that paint looks flawless!! Absolutely Beautiful!

The doors are troublesome on those...........I've taken to totally reworking the hinges on my '55. Now the chassis is giving me fits!

I'll get 'er done one of these fine days!
