Scuderia Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 looks too cool, and good subject and lesson behind it as well. Thanks for sharing, this is sweet
beeRS Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 What a cool model. I've always loved the RS500 and the Cosworth that its based on. I wish I'd bought a 1:1 when they were still reasonable money, but now they are mega expensive and the values are only going up! Polishing the plastic is a simple and good way of working if your lucky enough to get a good example - its not cheating in my book. I got this in my stash along with Tamiya's XR4. One day I'll get round to building them both.

thebronze Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Cool build. Love those cars, my wife had a '90 XR4TI when I met her. Never made a 1990 XR4Ti.... Made em from 85-89..

om617 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Turned out great Loved to watch DTM in the 80s when these monsters raced along with Volvo`s etc.
