Thanks Guys!! I am having a blast with this build. I built the distributors last night and installed the fire bottles and some of the electronics. Hopefully there will be a small update tonight!

I got some time in on this today. Tires are detailed and the 16 plug wires are installed. Once I put the caps on the magnetos you won't be able to tell the firing order is wrong. Those two wires going into the firewall will hook up to the ignition boxes.

Got some more done this evening. Front suspension is installed. The front struts are scratch built. I still need to add the steering shaft. I also started on the headers and some of the wiring.

How did you letter the tires?

bobthehobbyguy

They are decals off the "Motown Missile" Slixx decal sheet. I sanded the lettering off the tires, added the decals and then dull coted the tires to blend the decals into the vinyl. The tire decals are in the center of this sheet:

Ron... This is an outstanding build and it is looking great. I love the color of the roll cage. What color is it? This is a very clean build. I am looking forward to your next update on this one.

Thanks Chris! The roll cage is painted Tamiya "Light Gunmetal". I think my next update will include the seat belts and the front brakes. Hopefully I will get some time in tonight or tomorrow.

This is looking really good Ron..... keep it coming...

Thanks Tyrone!! If it wasn't for the inspiration I've gotten from your builds I'd never be able to pull a build like this off!!

Big update this weekend. Got the gauge screen installed and wired. Headers are made, transmission is built and installed. The interior is complete except for the ignition boxes, fire lines and computers. Batteries are in. I think i'm cross eyed after all this wiring!

I am having a hard time believing this is 1/25 scale. You must of robbed every electronic gadget in the house to source all that wiring.

Looks really Fantastic. B)

I really like the Hemi decal on the valve cover !
