These would've been the tire sets that came in kits like Monogram's Owens Corning Corvette.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear they were also used in some street rod kits as well.

They are still found in the 1/25 '32 Ford 5- and 3-windows, '32 Ford Sedan, 1/24 '32 Ford roadster, and the last go 'round of the 1/24 Shelby S/C Cobra, albeit with the sidewall now wiped clean and smooth.

Other than Ma's Resin, I can't think of any aftermarket company which might even offer them.

I don't recast kit parts.

I'm sorry, what I meant to say is that it could be a great addition to your line. I do recall you stating that you only create originals and are not a caster of kit parts, and a fine one at that ! :)

No offense taken, Mike :D If there were a really big demand for tires like this, then I would certainly consider creating them. If someone wants to commission them, then I am open to that option as well.

Modelhaus does these in a whitewall; whitewall pops out and could be painted black , tire is cast in soft black resin and whitewall is cast in hard white resin.....- other side of tire is black...I think they run $8.50 per set of 4......................'Z'
