vypurr59 Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Being frugal, I always look for cheap storage of Createx size paint storage. At the Michaels craft store, I found these memory boxes, that measure 7 1/2 x 11 x 4 1/2 inch tall.. I numbered the lids of each bottle of paint, on the lid numbered and put a corresponding color of each bottle for a quick and cheap storage option. hope this might help others as well.
joemac Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 I always store paint upside-down. Makes mixing a breeze, after setting it rightside-up for a few hours.
ApexSpeed Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I always store paint upside-down. Makes mixing a breeze, after setting it rightside-up for a few hours. Storing upside down will also keep it from ever drying out (this works with latex house paints, too). I have Testor's and Model Master paint that is over 15 years old that is perfectly usable because there was no air allowed to enter the seam at the lid. Excellent tip and it makes your paint almost last indefinitely. doug
