We all know that old saying but it applies to models as well. Here is a perfect example. Look at the beautiful box art for this Cobra Daytona and compare it to what is in the box. Do you have any examples ?

There are also plenty of reverse suprises, when the box-art looks like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH and the kit itself is very nice. There is one on my mind, but I can't remember which one it is.

Almost any reissue of old "motorized toy" import kits. A fine example is this Fujimi 79 Trans Am, and boy was I mad when I opened the box after spending $25 on what I thought was finally a nice non MPC/AMT 79 T/A. I hadn't known it was an old reissue til after the disappointment!

Don't remember what I paid for it but it was a Cobra and I needed it for my collection. I will never build it.
