towman1271 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 My R D Mack... Been a slow process giving I have no time to work on it...I have made some progress since this pic, but my daughter took her camera to school so I cant update yet...Your Braun truck looks great...Other than the decals I see no need for anymore work!!!!!
Old Buckaroo Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) Super looking Brauhn Trucking KW, Alan and a great topic. Dave your RD looks great , you need to get your camera back I am a few months away from having anything to contribute but have plans for "Love Machine / Pig Pen Mack" and a "RD" Mack also to be built. Need to finish up the two builds I have going on now. Edited February 23, 2014 by Old Buckaroo
72 Charger Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) Here is my Rubber Duck with scratch built trailer(wip) The truck has a AIMT resin R700 hood reworked down to 1/25.The caband chassis is Ertl R600. The cab the doors where opened up and chassis streached a bit with metal inserts down the inside of each chassis rail for strength as there is a lot of resin to hold up The sleeper is an resin able box that was also streached which I got from a freind he also supplied the roof spoiler The resin 2 hole wheels are from KFS tyres are from the revell K100 as is the steering . The decals are from JBot in canada. The trailer is still a wip it made of balsa wood and car body filler and sanded to shape.I hope to cover the tank in thin plasicard . The chassis is scratch built and boggie and hitchpin are from the AMT tanker The trailer wheels are from the peerless logger . Sorry for the rubbish pics Dave Edited February 23, 2014 by Doobie
