Daddyfink Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Well, I built John Milner's Dragster and now its time to do the rival car, The Hunt Bros. Racing Team Car from More American Graffiti This is an old body from Fremont Resin and it will need a bit of clean up here and there. It was made from the Tommy Ivo kit to fit on the Young American Chassis, which Joe also did in resin just in case you could not get your hands on one. This was a few years back. Donor kit is actually from a Fiat Rail Rod Slingshot Dragster, which is the last version issued of the Young American kit. The body will need a bit of a touch up especially around the rear of the chute pack body opening. Power will come from a Revell 392 Hemi out of the Willys Gasser kit, thanks Casey! Cutting the trans off to mate the engine to the clutch can and engine plate. The leftover trans is perfect for a proper gasser or early altered build. Here is the body compared to the Tommy Ivo that I think was done by Jim Kampmann and a stock Ramchargers rail And the engine size difference between the 392 Chrylser Hemi and the 426 Hemi Elephant This will not be the fasted build around but I will update the page when I do get things done! Thanks for watching!

Steve Prideaux Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Jessie, you will have to build a diorama of Fremont Dragstrip to put these on. Looking forward to see this built. Steve Prideaux
