  1. Where did the decals come from? Love it! I want to add it to my slot car build collection.
  2. Very old news. They have this worked out, and Street Outlaws now films their No Prep Kings series at a lot of NHRA tracks. They even went as far as having NHRA tech set up, and issuing Advanced ET licenses to all the drivers. NHRA needs Street Outlaws more than Street Outlaws needs NHRA.
  3. Looks great. I'll buy the first 1/16 drum of nitro when you are ready to fire it up.
  4. I had some crack up when I was doing a Bubble Up Firebird funny car. I got with Becky at slixx and she sent me out 2 replacement sets no questions asked. Great people to deal with from my experience also.
  5. Awesome. "They fully expect to win, the factory demands they win."
  6. Are you building the original car? Or building the Re-Pop in the video?? The Army Vega snake has now, is a re-creation, and is not the same as the car he ran back in the 70's, and there are slight differences. Don't sweat the small stuff, it's looking great!
  7. This thing is turning out so nice!!! So.. I must ask... What % nitro are you going to run it on??
  8. Go back to the hobby shop and get a piece of piano wire that will work.
  9. Great project. The 87 car was great. There were at least 3 made that I know of that year. One burnt to a crisp and ran off into a swamp at Maple Grove. One KB kept, and one came up for sale about a year ago on a couple different sites.
  10. Robert Patrick and John Konigshofer both ran Ford Quality Car cars over in IHRA. The pic above that is not Bobs, is JK. Look for some pics of them to go along with your search.
  11. BTW, you nailed the broken front wing. Awesome work!
  12. Garlits blew over 2 times. The first one was the most popular, and the one people know best. It was at the 86 Summer Nationals in Englishtown. That car was not badly damaged, and repaired to run at the next race, and won the championship that year. That was Swamp Rat 30. This car is at the Smithsonian. The crashed car at the Museum, was Swamp Rat 31. This car only made 6 passes. It came out at the 87 Northstar Nationals, made 5 runs there, losing in first round. He then went to a Match Race in Spokane Washington, and on the first pass it went over backwards in the lights, and wrecked the car beyond repair, and Big Daddy ended up with broken ribs, and a back injury.
  13. Is the backround really going to be yellow? Or will it be clear? Look awesome!!!!
  14. This sounds great! Slot cars, models, and die-cast. http://www.competitionplus.com/drag-racing/news/20602-legends-of-the-quarter-mile-collectibles-coming
  15. Revell Christine model kit, and Slixx Mopar Camo decals.
  16. Looking GREAT. Any idea when you will be ready to fire it up?? Oh Wait....
  17. They are slot car wheels, looks like this will do more then sit on a shelf!
