665@213
I figured since I was waiting for parts for a few other projects, I would start cutting up this. Came in the mail Saturday. The re-issue of the AMT Super Stones F150 4WD. Always wanted to do a 2WD short bed. Here's where Im at so far: New bed floor & inner side walls, shortened frame, also added the smaller "racetrack" mouldings to the bottom of the body. power comes from a Boss 429 with 2 Autolite inline 4 barrel carbs & a 5 speed trans. Pegasus Hellas 19" & 23" wheels. Paint will be Paintscratch factory 79 Ford Tangerine & Cream 2 tone. All comments welcome!! Devilsnake98
That is so cool, and your bed mods look great. Just got mine the other day, im going the other way with it though. Lifted on big boggers with a 12v cummins and gonna correct the bed to normal longbed wheelbase. Keep up the good work. Did you just cut the bed in front of the wheel wells? Or in front and behind? I cant see a cut in the rear. Edited March 3, 2014 by Devilsnake98

665@213
Hey guys. Have a small update on this 1. I modified the lower tunnel ram intake from the '70 Boss 429 kit & mounted 2 Autolite inline 4 barrels on it. Got the front suspension on & sitting at ride height. 665@213
Not a whole lot to show right now. I made some C notch brackets for the rear frame rails, & started on another intake for it. Been fooling around with trying to build or preferably find some headers for the Boss 429 that fit it good, but no luck so far. Probably have some updates this weekend. Thanks for looking!! 665@213
Hey Everybody! I finally got some time on the bench with the F150. I took an idea from roadrunner79. I got a Craftsman Truck kit & used the chassis from it to get the stance & suspension I wanted. I stretched it about a 1/4 inch, and it sits just right I think. The engine now sits like it should, too. Edited December 31, 2014 by 665@

66belair
Like the way this one is going. I think that body style looks good lowered. I don't think enough get dropped.
