Ace-Garageguy Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 There's a lot of exceptional, inspirational work all over this forum, and I find it's pretty easy to just scroll through all the topics every week or so, pulling up whatever jumps out at me. Not looking at things like trucks, or NASCAR, or whatever may not be your primary interest is a SURE way to miss some really fine modeling, and miss learning a thing or three.
W-409 Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 I read every single topic as well, but I visit quite rarely in some of the sections. For example Other Models or Dioramas are sections where I don't visit that often, but I still read all of the threads in there. I don't like using the View New Content button. I like to see similar topics at once. The guys who don't read for example Drag Racing Models or NASCARS or Big Boys section sure miss a lot. Personally I think that the most talented builders on this forum are in Drag Racing Models section, and that is the place I enjoy the most.
johnbuzzed Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Honestly, I've never checked out the entire site. Obviously I am "missing" things, but if I have no interest in certain categories or topics- those that I am "missing"- why go there? I don't arbitrarily buy random magazines just because they are on the rack. I can understand the specific category for large scale models, but along those same lines, I wonder why there is not a category for the smaller scales such as 1/32, 1/43, 1/87, etc.
kitbash1 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Anyone who is interested in models and such owe it to themselves to at least check in on all the different areas at least once in awhile. I log on for a hour or so twice a day, and I read almost everything on this site.
