Killer build of an unusual subject. What color did you use on the chassis. It kinda looks like magnesium metalizer.

Thanks! The paint on the chassis is Tamiya "Light Gunmetal".

Progress is moving right along on this one. I got it cleared and the body is on the chassis for good. All that's left are parachute release lines, fuel pump and lines to the barrel valve, glass in the hatch and quarter windows, door handles and dzus fasteners on the hatch.

Good Job on this project outstanding detail. Small suggestion try a different material for your chute cord it just doesn't do your build any justice

Thank you very much. Any ideas on what I could use for chute cords?

Ron, that is a killer build. very inspirational. as far as the chute goes, it seems that parachute cords always seem to be wrapped in black or silver material. maybe wrap the yarn in bare metal foil or for something stronger, maybe the dull side of aluminum foil? that's what I was going to try on my Pontiac I am building.... but I am not that far yet.

either way, still a great build.

curtain cord like whats used on venetian blinds and wrap most of it in a thin strip of BMF wound around it.

The build looks fantastic mate !! freaking awesome :) , are you adding a spoiler or wing?
