Thatswhatshesaid Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 (edited) I know some guys have used these for truck builds. There are several different ones available. Which ones are usable for 1/24 and 1/25 truck builds? Also which of the weld beads work in 1/24 and 1/25 scale? Edited March 22, 2014 by Thatswhatshesaid
Foxer Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I've used the welds but can't tell you which ones as I used a sample sheet with many sizes. But, Archer has a new thing on their page where you can print out their decals in actual size on your printer. This goes a long way is figuring out which is correct for your use.
Chariots of Fire Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I've used the HO scale rivet decals for my 1/25 scale trucks. They may seem small but on railroad equipment they are larger anyway. If you put them on try and limit the primer or put them on the primer then the color coat. Enough of the raised detail shows through to make it look pretty nice. The decal strips "melt" right into the paint so you don't see the edges; only the raised rivet detail.
