LoneWolf15
And if they build this, I WILL have a Mustang again... That car looks positively evil from the front view ! I really like the overall concept . Very sleek and elegant .

Fabrux
Shelby Lite? -MJS It was a concept for a 1970 Shelby built by Car Craft. Started with a stock 1969, used a Shelby front clip, unique grille, filled in the hood vents, and used a Cougar dash. Apparently this blue one and a red one were made before Ford and Shelby split. I'll build one one of these days...

customsrus
Here are some of the Mustang ll concepts that Ford built for the upcoming 1974 model. There are a few so I will post on several replies. I am not a big fan of this era of Mustang but I thought it was interesting to see how many designs Ford looked at before the final product. You can see some of the items on these that made it to production.

Fabrux
Ha! Supposedly the name comes from a quarter mile goal they were aiming for. Also, four different cars went into building it

Deano
That Mustang Mach I concept is a thing of absolute beauty, exceeded only by the Mustang Milano (in the Ford Mustang universe).

Ugliest thing I have ever seen http://www.muscularmustangs.com/database2/mach3.jpg It's not the best concept car I've ever seen (Mustang or otherwise), but I've seen a lot worse! Jairus
The first Mustang concept car. Obvious roots. Interesting how much of the styling made it all the way through to production. If you read the interesting story about this one.... you'll learn that it was a pre-production car modified to LOOK like a prototype.
