The non profit garage (the lift) I work for which helps low income MN get their autos repaired reached 500 cars/people today cool thing was I got to do the valve covers gaskets, belts, plug & wires along with timing belts on #500 I could not have found a more rewarding job to do with my certification after school. I love my job

Around here, we have Good News Garage which Lutheran Social Services sponsors, I think it's a great organization.

It's nice to see similar ones around the country, too.

Congratulations to you and your garage on its past and continued success.

Would love to open up a garage like that but would not know where to start. I have 16 years in the car repair business & its really getting tough at our shop.

Thank you all for the positive feedback and seth I sat on the board of director for almost three years as we tried to figure out how to make it possible all it takes is one person with the idea and devotion to make it work. the sadest thing is we are so overwhelmed with people needing help we are booked out til mid june. It is truely rewarding to do. Also one hard thing to overcome was insurance all mechanics and volunteers need to be certified mechanics. Charlie I am glad to know we are not the only place doing it.
