br67 Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Am building a small block powered Monogram 71 Satelite with a Harts Resin hood and am trying to find a good source for a 1/24 scale Chrysler 318 with a single 4 barrel carb. Most likely candidate is Monogram's 71 Challenger T/A but has six pack carb set up. Any thoughts?
oldnslow Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I think any of the 340s would work, isn't that the same block, dimension wise?
charlie8575 Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 The 273/1967-up 318/340/360 are all the LA-block. As to the four-barrel, didn't one of the RevellOgram muscle cars have a 4-bbl. 340? I thought one did? Charlie Larkin
mnwildpunk Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I know amt has a four barrel 340 in its duster kit but I have no clue in 1/24 could you cheat since and use it since it is sitting under an air cleaner
Jon Haigwood Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 AMT's 340 Duster comes with both the Six pack and single four but it is 1/25. I plan on using it for my 66 Barracuda build. I am not sure what scale the barracuda is but it's the only one I found
br67 Posted April 23, 2014 Author Posted April 23, 2014 Thx for input guys. Going to look at combining challenger engine with amt duster intake and carb
