TheCat Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Finished the 2006 Dodge Magnum Bridgeport PD K-9 Cruiser. Making this my Fifth model built for 2014 and my fourth Police Cruiser built. This was a built that I wanted to finish a couple of years ago. Now that this is finished, now moving on to my next Police Cruiser Build. Edited April 25, 2014 by TheCat
slusher Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Very sharp build Felix. Real cool light bar. Excellent work..
charlie8575 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Wonder if they're still running it? Very nice, Felix. Charlie Larkin
PappyD340 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Real NICE Felix, they still use a couple of those for K-9 units here where I live also, and all the other K-9 units are Tahoes
TheCat Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 Thanks everyone... and to answer Charlie's question... Yup, they still use the Magnum's for the K-9 units.
tomsheehy Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Very nice job, love it. Where'd you get the decals. Bridgeport even lets the K-9s drive once in a while. My photos from a 2008 parade in Stamford...
Danno Posted May 8, 2014 Posted May 8, 2014 Curious as to the flat black panels at the tops of the driver side doors. What's the function? Glare reduction?

TheCat Posted May 8, 2014 Author Posted May 8, 2014 Curious as to the flat black panels at the tops of the driver side doors. What's the function? Glare reduction? Ah, those are pads placed there so the dog has something to grip on when they jump out of the vehicle. This would avoid from the dog slipping and possibly hurting themselves when they jump out.

So, do the pads on the left front doors mean that Officer Fido takes his turn at the wheel? Seriously, thanks for the education.
