Great start! Davey was one of my favorites back in the day. Too bad his life was cut so short in that helo crash. No telling how many championships he could have won.

I've backed away from this project for a bit, while working on a couple of long stalled pro stock cars. Don't know what sparked it, but now that I've started I'd like to run with it.

Thanks guys, I don't konw if I mentioned that I started with a Raceway Replicas diecast, that I got for a very good price off EBay. It had no box, and the contingency decals were flaking off. So I sand and repainted it in Tamiya Black Metallic.
