Vince Nemanic Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Am I the only one who had this case function? Since Saturday, all I get is a statement that there is no new content. And just when I was getting to rely on it...
Bernard Kron Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 It's working fine for me. It's the only way to take everything in as far as I'm concerned.
Harry P. Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Vince, try clearing your internet browsing cache.
Vince Nemanic Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 That didn't work. Any other suggestions?
Vince Nemanic Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 I can't- I have a Microsoft Surface that only accepts IE. I tried logging off and signing in again, and have also played with the options in the left hand column to no avail.
Casey Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Is there a "Compatibility View" tab/button in the IE browser tool bar?
Vince Nemanic Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Yes there is. it looks like a torn sheet of paper. I will go to the home page and click on it, because it did nothing when on this page.
Casey Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Does everything else work properly, except for the "View New Content" button?
Vince Nemanic Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 Everything else seems to be working OK. I can see pictures and open up topics in the categories. It is just so much more convent to check out the new items with the function rather than hunting for things.
Vince Nemanic Posted May 2, 2014 Author Posted May 2, 2014 I just tried something...when I am not logged in, the view new content works, but it says no new content when I am logged in. Hmmmm...
maltsr Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I just tried something...when I am not logged in, the view new content works, but it says no new content when I am logged in. Hmmmm... Has it anything to do with the 'view new content' settings on the left of the page?
bobthehobbyguy Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I just tried something...when I am not logged in, the view new content works, but it says no new content when I am logged in. Hmmmm... Try clearing your cookies. I beleve when you log in the cookies are used.
Vince Nemanic Posted May 3, 2014 Author Posted May 3, 2014 Deleting cookies did nothing. I guess the feature doesn't like me.
bobthehobbyguy Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 What version of windows and IE are you running? Might be an issue with one or the other. Might check to see if anybody else is having issues with the same versions..
