As a Big Petty fan and a owner of a 1:1 66 Barracuda I have thought about doing this build. After researching the car I found out that on it's last run it veered off the track and killed a 8yr old boy and injured 8 spectators. Richard Petty was very distraught and gave up drag racing for that and because NASCAR had gave in.

This accident was a dark moment in Richards life and I read somewhere that he did not like to even talk about it. So out of personal respect I will not be doing this build. I know others feel differently about and I am not trying to discourage them in building it. This is just my personal choice.
