I like the 60's car for what it was, a prop in a really campy t.v. show. From the newer more serious efforts, the Tumbler is the best of the lot.

The early movie cars are pretty hokey and just too way over the top. Perhaps too much of a nod to the past, in my opinion.

I never liked the Tumbler. This new one kinda has a Tumbler stepped on by Godzilla look to it.

I have my own original Batmobile in the works also.

There's been some more done since these photos were taken. It's not quite so rough looking.

Is that the original original from the 1940s comic books?

Nope, it was a design concept that was shopped around by Barris and the artist Elden Titus several years ago. Probably before the Nolan films came out.
