Can anybody ID this car?

I found this on facebook. I can't seem to ID it it looks a lot like an 427 Cobra but except the roof and the front of the hood opening. I figure one of you experts could ID it

And a 3" or 4" top chop plus either a narrowed rear axle or widened rear fenders? Looks like the custom work was fairly well done.

The owner says it's a 1960 so that would fall right in line with the MGA
