Superpeterbilt
With all of the Diamond Reo's currently being built, I was moved to pull mine down. The tri axle to be specific. I filled in the holes in the hood and started puttying. I did some work to the dump body as well. I added graceful curves to the cabguard, and started building the frame for the tailgate. I swapped out the missmatched tanks for a set of Autocar tanks. I would like to have it in paint by the end of the weekend.

Superpeterbilt
I got the hood sanded and ready for primer. I mounted the roof lights and mirrors. I cut the fenders to mimic the new angle of the hood. I also scribed the fenders where they are split for the short hood. I got it all in a coat of primer. Superpeterbilt
Construction on the dump body is finally finished. I lengthened the tailgate with the section I cut off of my dump trailer project. I need to add a taillight panel and the main hinges. I shot some color on the cab and fenders. I also made a bigger doghouse to compensate for the shorter hood.

Superpeterbilt
I've commenced work on Old Green again while I've been weathering the Brockway. I added the tailgate, finished the grill, added the emblems, and started doing the base work for a little rusting.

Superpeterbilt
Thanks guys. This is totally just some uninspired, let the model build itself type of projects. Sometimes, those end up being some great pieces of the collection. I'm using some decals made by a friend of mine with my late grandfathers name on it. He never had a Diamond Reo, but if he did, it'd look like this!

Tesla
Great weathering Terry. The rot on the left fender is very convincing!
Superpeterbilt
Thanks Gordon and Dennis. I may tone that rot down a bit. I'm also thinking of a few last min details.
