I made interior "tin" from 0.005 inch thick Styrene sheet that I painted with Tamiya AS-12 Bare Metal.

The MAS and Arrowhead items were recent purchases. Arrowhead is back in business. MAS moved from SC to PA and may have been down for a short time.

A well known resin caster is bringing out an upgrade kit for the slingster. I am toying with offering some additional parts depending on what they offer in their upgrade kit. I am collaborating with this resin caster and provided a master for a Hilborn fuel pump.

Thanx for the info. I've seen Arrowhead parts being sold on eBay but haven't been able to locate a working web site for them. Machined Aluminum Specialties also seems to have changed hands or morphed into another company. I see their parts available through various resellers but haven't seen a dedicated web site. I'll keep my eye out for the upgrade set!

Your build certainly deserves the attention it is getting. Smart idea to post it Under Glass. I keep waiting for it to get moved to the relative obscurity of Drag Racing Models!

The Slingster is becoming one of my favorite recent kits, I think I really need to "rat hole" a few more of them. I really like that body it makes the Slingster really "Pop". Love the great job you did on this one, the change to the headers looks right on! (Just put an order in with Chuck at Altered States, kinda makes me wish I'd included one of these bodies in it. He has them on eBay too.)
