buxxx69 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Ok so I got this 3 n 1 model kit that I am hoping to trick out with as much detail as possible. I am looking for Photo Etched parts in particular but I have had no luck in finding any as of yet. I seen other pics of people who have realistic looking handles and badges.. But again I found nothing. looking desprately. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys !
buxxx69 Posted May 18, 2014 Author Posted May 18, 2014 Boy I totally screwed up the title. Im looking for 65 GTO ,66 Fairlane, 68 Roadrunner. Photo etched parts ,badges door handles that sort of stuffs.
StevenGuthmiller Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 The "Model Car Garage" makes a lot of photo etched parts. Not sure about everything they have available, but I know there's a '65-'66 GTO set available. I buy a lot of my supplies from "Model Roundup" on line. They have thhe GTO set for $19.99. You may be able to find the others some where else. Steve
Custom Mike Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 You won't find any Photoetch for the Fairlane or Roadrunner, I know that from experience. Keith Marks makes some great decal sets for 'em both though, check him out! Stuntman Mike Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 You won't find any Photoetch for the Fairlane or Roadrunner, I know that from experience. Not exactly. Fairlane parts are available and there´s also a set for the ´69 GTX. Both sets without grilles, but still useful stuff and very nice emblems included. Custom Mike Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 (edited) Kevin, where were you when I needed the PE set for the Fairlane? That's OK, I've got one with some killer decals on it, and 6 more to build, so thanks for the help on the next one I build! Edited May 19, 2014 by Custom Mike
buxxx69 Posted May 19, 2014 Author Posted May 19, 2014 Hey guys! Thanks very much. This is so close to what I want and I will take them. How do I order these? All I see is the Foki website for posting photos. I want to order but the other site is in German only. How can I commuinicate with these people? Thanks very much once again.
Mopar - D Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Send Keith Marks a e-mail what you want and he will reply with instructions. I just picked up decals for my 68 Cuda and they are perfect

You need to order the PE parts via email. I think he should be able to communicate in english. muerau@t-online.de Regarding the Keith Marks decals...I´m another happy customer. Ordered stuff from him in the past and will keep doing it in the future. Edited May 19, 2014 by Stuntman Mike
buxxx69 Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 I sent them both emails with no response. As of yet.
Custom Mike Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Keith can be a bit slow to respond, but once you get order in to him, it takes less than two weeks to get the decals. I will tell you this, get some Testors Decal Bonder and spray a coat on them before use just to be safe! Trim as close as you can to the decal, and apply as you would a normal kit decal!
james460 Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Keith makes some nice stuff and is real easy to deal with.

Mike, Will micro sol work too?
Custom Mike Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Yes it will, but if you're gonna use Micro Sol (Or any setting solution), you definitely need to add some Testors Decal Bonder before you apply the decals! Here's a couple with Keith's decals on 'em, and lots of Micro Sol was used on the decals with no problems. The Ford script is from Keith, right over the molded-in script... And I had Keith make the stripes, Chevy emblem and license plate for this one. Tons of Micro Sol was used to get the stripes to wrap around that spoiler and the trunk!
buxxx69 Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Beautiful work my friend. The decals look to be just what i needed. However, Day 3 and still no email from either guy. They must both be busy.
buxxx69 Posted May 27, 2014 Author Posted May 27, 2014 Well I got answers from both gentlemen. I just need to figure out what the diameter is in mm for the 1/24 and 1/25 scale tires. Anyone got a clue tp this?
Custom Mike Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I'm useless Jarrod, I can barely figure out inches, millimeters make my head spin!
