Slammed1 Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) Heres my 1:1 Sleeper project 34k mile 66 Belair 283/glide. Painted and detailed the engine even though a bigblock will soon take its place. Will end up using the engine in another project or just lookng good on a run stand or engine stand. Slammed1 Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) This ones Danube blue and is a replica of a real 1:1 L72 a friend owns in New Zealand. Edited June 8, 2014 by Slammed1
Slammed1 Posted June 9, 2014 Author Posted June 9, 2014 The dark blue 1:1 is the bad boy,my white Belair is starting to get the look but needs the power to back it up. The dark blue one was in the US til last year, now a friend in NewZealand owns it. It was owned by Dave Lindsey and was a NHRA regular for years. The car was restored to reflect a "day two" look where slicks and skinnies were added, traction devices, and tow tabs. Its a legitamate 427 L72 car and I love it. My white Belair will recieve a bigblock hopefully over 500" and I have a Dana60 that needs brackets swapped to bolt it in soon.
66belair Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Those are some nice models and really nice 1:1's. I sold a bel air wagon last year that I was working on. I think the 66 is a great looking car.
