Aaronw Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 So obviously aimed at those who have already built the Moebius Prostar kit. How much effort would it take to build a basic Prostar without the aerodynamic fairings under the cab, just exposed fuel tanks. Is it as simple as leaving those parts off or are they fairly integral to building the kit.
martinfan5 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 (edited) They are not a integral part of the kit, so that part is simple, but beyond that, I am not sure what else you would have to do, looking at the kit and pictures there is some difference, the few pictures I can find the fuel tanks are under the front cab doors, on the kit, the fuel tanks are under the sleeper . I know there are some guys here that can help you more then I can Edited June 10, 2014 by martinfan5
Bennyg Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I reckon you'll have to make quarter guards in front of the fuel tanks judging from pics. Cheers. Ben
Aaronw Posted June 11, 2014 Author Posted June 11, 2014 I imagine you are correct, it looks like the lower rear portion of the front fenders would have to be scratch built.
