LunaticRick Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 The video clip was excellent!!! Great subjects for a dual build. All though I like both cars, I have to choose the one and only General Lee. I'll be watching your work for tips & ideas when I build the 1/16" version of the General...........thanks
martinfan5 Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 Bodys in primer Sanded smooth the roof, I also removed the fender trim
martinfan5 Posted June 30, 2014 Author Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Few more pics, interior painted, I know , thinking wow, that was fast, well, I am working on another project, and I am doing that inteiror in the same color, and I was ready to paint that interior, so since got it out of the way The paint I used was gloss, hit with some dull clear , but I think I need to hit it one more time And painted the chassis of the T/A, used a satin black, yes, I still need to remove the copyright date And the interior piece in flat black for the time being Edited June 30, 2014 by martinfan5
Scuderia Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Good starts here! How long did it take to get the Revell Charger sanded smooth as far as that roof goes? I wanna build a G.L. with the Revell kit myself.

I wanna build a G.L. with the Revell kit myself.Did not take that long , maybe 20 minutes of sanding, if you want to save yourself the sanding, get the 68 kit, it has a smooth roof, but you will still need the 69 for the front and rear pieces
Agent G Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Looking good. I don't think the Chargers interior really needs more flat coat on anything but the carpet. G

MoparWoman Jamie Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Just so you know, that Clip features one of the original General Lee's from the tv series. I'll be keeping an eye on this thread for sure. Keep up the good work on the projects. I have a few General Lee model projects going on right now myself.
JTalmage Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I thought about buying the Bandit T/A a while back... but seeing as how it was basically a die cast turned plastic.... I might just use it for the decals, and find another earlier release '78 2n1
martinfan5 Posted July 5, 2014 Author Posted July 5, 2014 (edited) And first round of paint, decided on Hugger Orange, used Model Master Lacquer line, decanted Edited July 5, 2014 by martinfan5
