My plan was to go box stock again. To my surprise not all the parts were in the box, no 6 banger. I was going to use a '53 Corvette engine and found another box of missing engine parts. Moving on to the 427 engine included in kit I thought maybe a carb version. The more I looked at the stock hood I had already painted I noticed marks showing through the hood for a hood scoop, which I usually hate. A high-school ride cheep and simple. The hood turned out to be a nightmare, then I noticed the clear hood. It fit perfect! Okay so I could paint it, no now I have to wire the engine. I don't recommend doing this after the model is already built. So much for simple, it took me about twice as long to finish this one but, in the end I am happy with my high-school ride. We were the Southside Rebels, no longer a high-school after this last year, a tribute.

Oh yeah the underside, no mufflers, I like 'em loud! Or at least I did in high-school. This could have been my ride after I lost my license maybe just at the local dragstrip, after all it was pretty much run wha you brung back then, they had a class for everything including your parents car.

Thanks guys. There doesn't seem to be much interest out there on this one, I know, it's kind of plain. Maybe more graphics? Or maybe some more color? Let me know what you think. Maybe just too easy.

The next one I am doing some cutting on, a '36 Ford.
