TooOld Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) This is the recent reissue of the GoMad Nomad . Built basically right out of the box with a couple small changes and additions . Fun kit to build ! Edited February 15, 2020 by TooOld
Kennyboy Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Looks great Bob!! The subtle additions blend well into the finished piece! I love the Deal's wheels stuff!!
Dragline Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 THAT is just Killer Bob. I love everything about it.... I'm digging the blue dots, very clever to add them. As soon as mine gets here I'm going to jump right into it. I'm thinking Root Beer metal flake as a possible color. I don't have any gold BMF so I may have to fake that with some clear orange/yellow acrylic mix. These Dave Deal kits are the Shiznit. Bob
Dragline Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 BTW, did you tint the glass or does it come that way? Bob
RatRod Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Very nice Bob!!! Just picked one up Friday. The smaller scoop looks great.
TooOld Posted July 13, 2014 Author Posted July 13, 2014 Thank you everyone for the nice comments , it's always good to see some Deal's Wheels fans ! BTW, did you tint the glass or does it come that way? Bob I tinted the glass with Tamiya Clear Yellow . I was too lazy to get out the airbrush so I just brushed it on , not perfect but it worked ! Very nice Bob!!! Just picked one up Friday. The smaller scoop looks great. Thanks John ! The scoop is from a Zinger Semi . I'm still looking for a scoop to use on my next one !
