greymack Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 (edited) Well I know now what the proper name of these trucks are Model AA and I sure love to build them too. Well here is another one for you guys and gals. Here I'v built a 1931 Ford fuel tanker which is based on a real truck as well. The tank is all scratch built and it also replicates the original tanker too.I also added the heavier rear suspension and axle which were also used on heavy duty trucks. Danno Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 That's better, George. Closer to a AA. But, the grille/radiator shell should be black, also. You're almost there.
Aaronw Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Slusher if you click on the photos you will get larger images. George, interesting truck. Always nice to see early commercial trucks. Where did the wheels come from, finding a good set of wheels for these old trucks is always a challenge and those look quite nice.
