Thanks for digging this back up Richard. I had a lot of fun building this but I have to say, all of the commentary, hilarity and commradiere shown in this thread sure made me smile the entire time.

A really great build Brad!

I'm still using your method on front axles, none better.  Still appreciate your help on this. 

Also the tip about fly-fishing lines for electrical wiring, and later on using the line for making laced front wheels, the stuff is unbeatable and cheap.

My first post to this forum.

 

I just had to say how delighted I am to see this car so perfectly executed. Great subject matter and terrific execution! 
 

I hope to build one of these, and if I come to within 20% of your quality I will be pleased.
