Prostreet Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I decided to give 1/25th another shot and so far things are going good, I'm doing a 68 Dodge Charger R/T prostreet using the Revell special addition charger and the back half from the revell 67 chevelle. So far i have the chassis parts grafted together and the chevelle chassis fits this body great and i can use the rear seat also, I made a smoothed firewall and a filler for the top of it. I wanted to see if i could make a Hemi valve cover on my mill and i'm pretty happy the way it turned out, now i just need to make one more lol. This motor will most likely have a blower on it. I also wanna try to get it to sit as low as possible. I will try and update as much as possible. i will do the other valve cover next and then do some inner fenders unless i decide on a strut front suspension.
Custom Mike Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Great work on the chassis, who would have thought the Chevelle chassis would fit the Charger so perfectly! I like the machined valve cover too, one day I'll actually but some tools to work with metal...when I get the stash down to about 100 kits so the wife won't strangle me!
1 bad55 stan Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Cool,Never enough pro street builds, and nice work on that valve cover!
DynoMight Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Those valve covers are excellent! You should try to mill the blower! A good challenge! Your wheels on your Camaro are amazing!
Prostreet Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 Thx. Guys, finished the 2nd one tonight. Pretty happy with the results.
slusher Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Those covers are impressive. Adds realism to the engine...
W-409 Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 This will be interesting! You build very nice stuff, I still think your '57 Chevy Turbo Pro Modified was one of my favorite projects ever on this forum. This will be interesting to watch, your start looks excellent. I agree with the others, those valve covers look very good.
