Lovefordgalaxie Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Another Old Build. Got this one as a built model for cheap. My intention was using it for parts, but decided to turn it into a custom. The color is Tamiya Mica Red over silver. 1957 Ford Fairlane Mild Custom by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane Mild Custom by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane Mild Custom by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane Mild Custom by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane Mild Custom by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane Mild Custom by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane Mild Custom by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr 1957 Ford Fairlane Mild Custom by Lovefordgalaxie, on Flickr
Harry P. Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Very cool "old school" custom. Man, Tulio... you have a very impressive collection!
Maxicoop Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 that is an awesome lookin' 57 ............. fantastic job !!!!
1930fordpickup Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Another nice looking 57 Ford. I am beginning to think you like these cars. LOL
Lovefordgalaxie Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 Thanks gentlemen Usually, I only love factory stock, but like I built so many '57 Ford kits, Saw nothing wrong with a Custom. Like Harry said, a Old School Custom, that's the only kind I like.
72 Charger Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Do you have a metal flake in the red ?its hard to tell from the pics . But its still great Tulio
Lovefordgalaxie Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 Do you have a metal flake in the red ?its hard to tell from the pics . But its still great Tulio No Dave, It's just the Tamiya Mica Red over a silver base. That paint has quite a lot of metallic particles on it.
JTalmage Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I bought a built '40 Ford off of Ebay for the same reason.. then decided it was just too plain and lonely looking to tear apart. So I'm going to weather it a little and put it on the shelf.
