1 bad55 stan Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Its been a while since my last up date but here is a little bit i have got done.I added a set of gauges and a monster tacho.I will have to re-mount it as it fell off when i sat the body on.Also got some foil work done.
W-409 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Great to see you back building this one. The Vega is looking really good. Nice work with the paint job and smooth BMF makes it look like a real deal. Good looking details in the interior too.
1 bad55 stan Posted November 23, 2014 Author Posted November 23, 2014 Thanks for the comments Guys i appreciate them. Heres another update,i got the seats in with the harness, engine and trans are also fitted,i added some fuel lines and fitted the radiator. I glued the body to the frame and when i went to fit the headers well they don't fit with the body on.Bugger! So that is my next mission... Any thoughts or comments are welcome....

Chris D Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Hi Stan, Great project, fantastic detail. I have a question for you regarding the braided fuel lines, how did you attach them? I have to do that soon on my firebird and am not coming up with any ideas that would work good. Chris D

1 bad55 stan Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 Hi Stan, Great project, fantastic detail. I have a question for you regarding the braided fuel lines, how did you attach them? I have to do that soon on my firebird and am not coming up with any ideas that would work good. Chris D Hi Chris,Thank you for your comments. They are a pain in the ..you know where.First off i use a thin galvanized wire and add my fittings,i leave a little wire hanging out the end.then i drill a small hole into say the carb or what ever you are pluming, add a drop of super glue and your done. There are probably better ways to do it but this works for me.hope this helps...
Speedfreak Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Stan, this looks 'really' good, and real. That last picture is really cool. What did you use for the 'class' designation on the windows?
1 bad55 stan Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Well i don't know what happened to the last few post but here is an update again. I have lowered the front a tad,i also made a parachute mount,an added hood pins. I need to fix some of the BMF and a few other things and then i,ll call it done.Comments are welcome...
