Inside Looking Out, Grand Funk Railroad, from the "Mark, Don and Mel" LP. I have it on vinyl.

good job John.

one thing, the Album "Mark, Don & Mel" 1969, was a greatest hits album. inside looking out first appeared on the "grand funk" album..

to me, this is probably their best album... with "closer to home" 1970 a close second.

and I also have these on vinyl too!! I love albums.

correct. that is one fired up woman in that song. it even gets me pissed off.

A bit off topic, but when I was a server at a Fridays in California, they use to have Music Choice channels for the radio in the restaurant... So everyday the assistant manager would let us change the station randomly... So midday on a weekend we put it on the alternative station... Well They played Alanis " You oughta know" so it gets to the part about where she sings " were you thinkin of me when you..." Well you get the rest... And at That exact moment, it was dead quiet even though the restaurant was packed... Man, we were all laughing , but the manager ran and changed the station to one of those England Dan soft rock channels...

Ain't no party like a Detroit party. Cuz, a Detroit party don't stop.

well, I think I will get someone half way there. by deduction, there are only 2 artists that I can think of that talk about Detroit, J Geils and Kid Rock. since Kris is younger and going off of his past posts, I think he would listen to Kid Rock more, but I have no clue on the song. then again, I may be way off base.

This was actually Eric Burden and the Animals first. The first version I ever heard was by a band called the Obsessed. You should give it a listen. I have never heard Grand Funks version. Guess I need to give that a listen

"Quando para much mi amore de felice corazon. Mundo paparazzi mi amore cicce verdi parasol..." (my spelling might not be 100% accurate)

'Sun King' out of the medley of unfinished songs on side 2 of Abbey Road by the Fabs!

What is this that stands before me?

Figure in black which points at me

Turn round quick and start to run

Find out I'm the chosen one...

that had to be hilarious. love it when those awkward situations happen. and I bet there was at least one table that was singing along.

Insane Clown Posse talks about Detroit as well as Eminem lol...

yea, I don't think I would get them. not a prude, just not into rap.

Correct Al. The song is Early Mornin Stoned Pimp.

OK, if it's not "cowboy" or "Baw-wit-da-baw-bang-a-bang-digy-digy", I'm not going to get that either.
