The band that every garage band cut there teeth on with Proud Mary

Credence Clear Water Revival or Just Credence

I can't remember the name of the tune and I'm not going look it up ( I don't play that game) however I will be humming that one all day!!! Great tune Great Band!!!

man they were an outstanding band. born on a bayou is the song. was NOT going to post proud mary, that has to be one of the most played songs .. EVER!! next to the "Star Spangled Banner"

I would recommend grabbing any CCR you can. all great stuff.

The original version was recorded by Gloria Jones in 1964, she was Marc Bolan's girlfriend.

Correct on the Creedence tune, it's one of my favorites :)
