Actually this is the only song of theirs that I like, it's "Flight of Icarus"..........

You don't believe in War, you don't believe in Jesus,

Got a sister in New York you know how she pleases,

Walking the street on the south side of the City,

Trying to make ends meet, isn't that a pity.......................

I don't remember those exact lyrics, but you can sing them to Stevie Wonder's Living for the City.

it's only money by Thin Lizzy

I'll throw one on here...

If we could take the time
To lay it on the line
I could rest my head
Just knowin' that you were mine... All mine

Sublime - Same in the End

Here's one:

Can't think of the title but I hear Neil Young's voice singing it. Am I in the ballpark?

Another one:

"Overhead the albatross hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves in labyrinths of coral caves
The echo of a distant tide
Comes willowing across the sand
And everything is green and submarine"

This is "Echos" off the Meddle album..... The long jam before the song transitions to the whale song is some of the best Gilmour guitar work ever!

On the nose!  Echoes is one of my favorite Pink Floyd tunes from a pretty obscure album - Meddle.  "Obscure" at least as far as the main stream music media is concerned.
