No, but Sgt. Pepper has a reference to the Albert Hall in Day in the Life, IIRC.

yep, you are correct young man, after months of research it was ""Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey" ", not "a day in a life". thanks for the correction.

Well, I built me a raft and she's ready for floatin'
Ol' Mississippi, she's callin' my name

That paddle wheel thumpin'

Baby hair with a woman's eyes
I can feel you watching in the night
All alone with me and we're waiting for the sunlight
When I feel cold you warm me
And when I feel I can't go on, you come and hold me

Clean as a whistle

Smellin' like a rose

She got no dirty little fingers

Bloodshot eyes are gone

Done before, do it again.

So you find yourself somebody who will do the job for free

With a whirlwind by her side

On a cold Nebraska night

Oh, they say she died one winter

When there came a killing frost

She's 41 and her daddy still calls her baby
All the folks 'round Brownsville say she's crazy
'Cause she walks downtown with her suitcase in her hand
Lookin' for a mysterious dark haired man

How could they know the palace there had been, behind the door where my love reigned as queen

When I was a little boy
And the Devil would call my name
I'd say "now who do ...
Who do you think you're fooling?"
I'm a consecrated boy

My mama loves, she loves me

Admiral halsey notified me,

He had to have a berth or he couldn't get to sea.

I had another look and i had a cup of tea and a butter pie.

I always thought the lyrics were:

Admiral Halsey built a fine fleet

he had to cop a buzz or he couldn't get to sleep
