Charger for a friend........

This is my "almost ashamed to show you guys" build! I'm doing this for a friend who had a first generation Charger back in the day. He says he drove it with plain steel wheels, so that's what he wanted on the model. He picked out the color ( I hate yellow...... ) and bought a '71 Charger for the engine to replace this kits Hemi........

I'll be glad to finish this build. I probably won't update this, I'll just show it "under glass" when it's done. Thanks for looking, and feel free to comment......

Are you kidding? This is a great looking model. A classic mopar with steelies and plain jane paint may not be very flashy but to a guy that had one and misses it, this is better than anything.

And it looks like fine work. Show us more.

The guy I'm building this for said it was the first car he bought with his own money, he was 16 at the time. I don't mind doing the build for him because he is a good guy, it's just one I don't feel "into".......

Tim, you may not 100 percent into it but it does not show buy your work. I am putting steel wheels on my 69 super bee. Great looking interior and paint. What paint and color did you use ???

The paint on the body is DupliColor Chrome Yellow with their acrylic lacquer clear. 3 coats of each.......
