Not sure, I just get it from the LHS.

It's call "The Detailer" I would imagine that Stradasport or someplace like that would have it.

I have The Detailer Black. To my eyes, it seems to dry with a bluish hue, especially on chrome. Also seems to peel off somewhat easily when dry.

I would suggest thinning down any brand of acrylic paint, and using that instead. Maybe someone else here could recommend if water or Iso Alcohol is the best way to go for thinning it down for a wash, and a mix ratio.

I have also heard of builders using thinned-down India Ink for the same purpose

Let us know how it goes.

Have had the same experiences with the bottles of Detailer. They dry too glossy, black changes to blue and they can really only be used in deep seam lines since they come off so easily. Go with thinned matte Acrylic paints, that way you can mix your own colors. I often find that black has too much of a contrast with most colors.

Found a source for Detail Master. Scale Models by Chris. Seven colors and pretty inexpensive. Going to try it along with the suggestions offered here. Thanks all.

I'm also a big fan of Tamiya Smoke. Some modelers don't like the gloss that it has,so when buying it,get two bottles and some Tamiya flat additive and dull it to your liking.Smoke as it comes from the bottle also has uses such as "toning down" the chrome on some parts(great on hubcaps).MTC.
