Old Buckaroo Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) This is incredible, I am so impressed with the Ford. Nice work all the way around and Those fender mirrors are the coolest ! The lowboy is equally impressive ! Edited January 10, 2015 by Old Buckaroo
christian-w Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 The Truck is awesome! Love the conversion to day cab and - for sure - the mass of details (mirrors, lightbar..)
mackd Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 The lowboy is completed. I find it ordinary but it'll work...
Truck parts Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Great work on both the truck, and trailer. What size of material did you use to build the frame rails?
gotnitro? Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Awesome build! The shackles and chains on the low boy add so much detail, and their hand made wow Speechless

kilrathy10 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Nothing ordinary about this build, Man.....Very skillful piece of work.....Your cuts for your I beams and such are amazing....Those are tough to get consistent.....And the weathering is spot on.....Beautiful, Man....
mackd Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 Thank you JT, for your comments.I find it ordinary because I does not vibrate on this model. But it'll work with the Ford.
mackd Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 I had not yet decided that it loads I will put on the float. I decide to place the loader Cat even if it's a cast. I do not so much like it but at the moment I don't have time to make a loader, is for later. So, I will give it a look closer as possible of the real. I'll remove the teeth on the bucket, chancher pines of cylinders, put the hoses hydr. place driving cylinders and put a can of Sridharan in the trous.je'll add parts that are missing and then painting it with a paint worn for the weathering.
kilrathy10 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Looks like it has plenty of potential to be a good load.....I know you'll make it look realistic enough....
gatorincebu Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Alain, Great job on the truck and trailer. I love them both. The diecast loader will make a good load for this lightweight lowboy. Be Well Gator
Loadmat Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Incredible Build!!!!! So realistic!! Thanks for sharing - Gregor
mackd Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 Thank you friends. I love build a loader, but this summer I have two very large projects, more important. I'll try to do a realistic loader with this cast.
mackd Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 Looks like it has plenty of potential to be a good load.....I know you'll make it look realistic enough.... Thank JT, I'll try.
mackd Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 A small advanced, I'm pretty limited in my details on this Cat there is not great details on the internet and in my files I very may on this small charger. I still found pictures with some Details.comme usual when you seek a 1/1 original you is never so that's the opposite when you didn't need.
gatorincebu Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Alain, The truck and trailer lok really good. I am interested to see what other changes you make on the loader>. What paint is that you used on the Ford cab? Be Well Gator

What paint is that you used on the Ford cab? Be Well GatorThanks Marc, I used paint Model Master acryl and Italeri acrylicpaint. There is also the Testors Astek opaque, I think it's too complicated to play with the clear to obtain the desired gloss.
Pavel A. Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Excellent work. Awesome. Also great weathering. Perfect!
