Petetrucker07 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) Here are a few old trucks waiting for restoration at our main terminal. The owner has a real nice collection of old trucks. Hes a high up board member of the ATHS. I thought this old D4 was cool Edited October 19, 2014 by Petetrucker07
Petetrucker07 Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) The white/freightliner is just like the kit except it has a 6v71 and single head lights. The pete is almost like the kit except its stretched, has a turbo cummins and a notched cab with a single stack Edited October 19, 2014 by Petetrucker07
Superpeterbilt Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Very cool. Id take that little Autocar, and that 351 for sure. They look to be in great shape for there age.
Petetrucker07 Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 The autocar is in great shape, the interior is really nice. Guess all it needs is a paint job and the motor gone through, its complete. The pete has been sittin in that same spot for about 10 years, its straight but needs restoration
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Beautiful old machines. I especially like the conventional Pete. I also really envy you guys who live in a climate where you can store vehicles outside for years without having them destroyed by the elements.
Brinx Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Great shots, will be most helpful as I'm going to (eventually) try my hand at weathering. Thanks Clayton.
trick my mixer Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Thanks for the pictures. they are great........... Trucks were trucks then!!
Petetrucker07 Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) Heres 4200 single drive thats getting some repairs Edited October 27, 2014 by Petetrucker07
Old Buckaroo Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Some real fine looking trucks, the kind I like !
Petetrucker07 Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 Heres a Bison thats been put to pasture. Its sittin at a rock quarry in the Neveda hills about an hour south of Las Vegas.
Old Buckaroo Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I think you should drag that one home, what a great "Father / Son (or Daughter) Project"! Check the oil, dump in some fuel , grab the jumper cable and kick the scorpians out of the tires !
