Picked up a 48 Ford S/D body at a swap meet last year and I need to know what kit I need to get for a donor.

I looked at the Resin Body web sites but could not find anyone that sold a 48 Ford Sedan Delivery.

Thanks

I'm thinking the '48 Woody? There's probably no difference in the chassis' between the kits. I think you would get more usable parts from the woody though. More than likely, it's what your SD is based on too.

AAM made a '48 Ford sedan delivery body back 20-25 years ago. It was made to fit the IMC/Testors '48 Ford coupe kit though. I've not seen one done for the Revell '48 Fords though.

Pretty much, all '41-48 Ford body styles used the very same chassis and front clip sheet metal. AFIK, the only body panel shared between the Sedan Deliveries and Station Wagons of those years were the rear fenders--Ford Woodie Station Wagons of the era used the sedan delivery rear fenders.
