FASTBACK340 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Cleaned up the work area and actually started a project. I had built a Woody 2 years ago and kinda threw it together for NNL East. I'm finally gluing the engine in and fastening the body. The LIARS show is in a few weeks and I wanted to finish-up a few things. I also have to clean up the '68 Barracuda. As soon as I get the Woody & `Cuda sorted I'll tackle that `70 Cuda from last year (when they were topical….). Here we go gang, time to build.
Ramfins59 Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 Good to hear John. Say Hi to the LIARS guys for me when you see them.
FASTBACK340 Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 For example: I never glued in the engine, mounted tail lights, or made a drag link. Done…. I also re-did the roof. The final touch is the radiator hoses, which I'll do tomorrow. My super-glue dried out. This was a fun build. Now to touch-up some BMF work on the Barracuda and install a radiator cap. And my 2 entries for the LIARS show will be ready. WEEKS in advance.
hgbben Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 That looks really cool John. Glad you are back at it.
FASTBACK340 Posted October 23, 2014 Author Posted October 23, 2014 Yeah, model building has definitely become seasonal with me. The 1:1 hobby gets in the way.... Plans call for: Finishing the Pink Hemi-Cuda 'Vert Replica of my '68 Baja Bug And maybe a vintage F/E rail..... Let the building begin!
