I have got some more parts in the purple pond right now removing the old brush-on paint. Then off to the paint booth (tomorrow!)

That motor is outstanding! I may have to dig out the old scrapped big scale 57 and stuff the motor into a "Tooned" '32 Ford or something.

Nice work on the engine!! Cant wait to see it progress!!

Thanks Justin! Goin' on vacation for a week....but when I get back.....I'll be on it!

Really looking good Ken. The alclad sure looks better on the engine than chrome plating would have, that's for sure.

Thanks Jim! That was what I was hoping for too, the chrome parts from the kit had issues due to age so I had to sand and file to clean them up anyways so.......Alclad! ;)

Getting close with the build! Halibrand's on the front were donated from a fellow club member (they were from the Rat Roaster) front suspension was taken from the AMT '55 Stepside pickup. Taillights were cut out of the original body (molded in) and replaced with taillights from a Revell '55 chevy. Just playing around with the "smoke" for now....it will be better!

Did a quick print and mockup of the arm out of the roof.....I LIKE IT! Now I just have to make the arm out of Apoxie Sculpt.

Some quick pics for you guys.....

This is nifty Ken!! The smoke effect on the tires puts the cherry on top of this one!

Thank you Joe! Glad you like it!

The belt ran inside of the idler pulley will engage more teeth and will be less likely to start shearing teeth off the drive belt because it takes the same force to spin the blower, but spreads it out over more teeth, but it also takes more power to spin the blower, it's a tradeoff between horsepower and reliability.
